Brownstone

Brownstone is a popular building material and is most known for its use in the construction of New York City Townhouses in the 1800s, which was locally sourced right here in Connecticut!

Brownstone is a naturally forming sandstone that gains its array of rich colors from the elements it was surrounded by when it formed millions of years ago during the Late Triassic and early Jurassic periods.
